App suggestion

I have been looking for an app that will best work with using the "interactive note takeing and reading strategy."  I have posted a YouTube clip the illustrates how the strategy works.  Once you have checked it out let me know if you have any suggestion on apps that would best fit.

  1. I just saw an app called ibrainstorm that works on ipads and itouchs. Students write or draw on a note and send it with a flick of their finger to the ipad. Could this be used somehow? It is a free app. I don't have my iPad yet so I haven't tried it

  2. What about trying Adobe Ideas? It is a free lite 2 layer version. The app enables a photo / text base to be annotated. Layers of hand written text (fingers work well) and coloured drawings can be added, and the app can be zoomed in on parts of the canvas to draw attention to different elements being added. A new layer of annotation/ drawing/ highlighting could be added for each of your roles. The paid app has 10 layers which can be rotated and manipulated. It is all able to be projected on a classroom screen, or a projector / monitor. The finished result can be exported via email.
    Worth a look.

  3. Would the free Sundry Notes app work for you? See http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sundry-notes/id353007318?mt=8#

Another good app is GoodReader but it cost money. See http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/goodreader-for-ipad/id363448914?mt=8

If you just need to annotate, the free pdf-notes app is good. See http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pdf-notes-free-for-ipad-pdf/id391487223?mt=8
